What is the Snowcombo?
It is a package that loads your snow machines on the Tour of the Line train and arranges for your lodging.

How many days is the trip?
The package can be custom made based on how many days you want to ride. A 2 day riding package normally includes 4 days lodging, 3 day riding package normally includes 5 days lodging, 4 day riding includes 6 days lodging

How is the 4 day riding package normally put together?
You arrive in Sault Ste. Marie at Catalina the first night, load your sleds on the train the second day and spend the second night in Hearst. The third day ride to Hornepayne and spend third night there. Fourth day ride to Wawa spend the night in Wawa. Fifth day ride to Halfway Haven spend the night. Sixth day ride back to Sault Ste. Marie arrive at the big Watertower Shell Gas station, call Catalina for a shuttle and spend the night.

What do we do with our vehicles once we have loaded them on the train?
There is free train customer parking at the railway. Most people leave their vehicles there.

When we get back into Sault Ste. Marie, how do we get our vehicles?
Call Catalina and they will shuttle you from the end of the trail to the railway to pick up your vehicles. One person can stay at the Shell Gas station with your machines and keep warm inside where there is coffee and snacks available to purchase.

How many miles riding is the trip?
Approximately 450 miles.

If doing the 4 day riding package, how many miles am I riding each day?
The most is about 135 miles and the least is about 85 per day.

Are snow machines included in the package?
No, you must arrange for your own snow machine.

Are meals included in the package?
No. The only establishment that does include meals in it's pricing is Halfway Haven. You will receive a supper and a breakfast in the price of their room. All other establishments are for room only.

How much do I owe up front?
The railway does require a $50.00 deposit per sled, only refunded if you cancel before 21 days prior to departure date. All other establishments will hold your reservation with a credit card upon arrival.
